Abstract:
Objective: To explore the diagnostic value of detecting (1, 3) -��-D-glucan of bronchoalveolar lavage for chronic respiratory disease with fungal infection. Methods: From May 2013 to December 2016, 90 cases of patients with chronic respiratory diseases admitted to the department of respiratory and critical care medicine, Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine were selected as research objects. According to the specific conditions, these patients were divided into fungal infection group, general infection group and non-infection group, with 30 cases in each group. The plasma and alveolar lavage fluid samples of the patients were collected for BG detection, and the concentration of BG in the plasma and alveolar lavage fluid and the predictive effect on fungal infection in the three groups were compared. Results: The BG concentration of the plasma and alveolar lavage of the three groups, fungi group > general infection group > non-infection group, the difference was statistically significant (P��0.05). When the BG concentration of plasma was 66.07pg/mL, the maximum value of Jordan index was 0.584 and sensitivity was 66.7%, specificity was 91.7%; when the BG concentration of alveolar lavage fluid was78.3pg/mL, the maximum value of Jordan index was 78.3pg/mL and sensitivity was 80%, specificity was 93.3%. Conclusion: Compared with the plasma G test, the alveolar lavage G test has more clinical value in the diagnosis of early fungal infection, which is worthy of clinical application.
